•  What You Get with Cycle America  •
 
Tour Kit. Pre-tour, you'll receive a packing list, local information, emergency phone numbers, mailing addresses and much more.

Transportation.

  • If you are flying: We offer ground transportation to and from the airports listed in the tour descriptions. If you want help with your flight arrangements, we suggest calling Four Seasons Travel at 800-873-1385.

  • If you are driving: Park at a designated spot or have someone drop you off, and select the transportation shuttle you need from the schedule in the tour description.

Registration. General tour information will be available on arrival. You will receive your Cycle America t-shirt at registration.

Orientation. There is a tour briefing the night before your first riding day. It's a good place to meet fellow riders and the staff. If it is your first Cycle America tour, you'll also learn how we operate.

Marked Route. We point the way with arrows, daily route maps and directions to sites of interest.

Accommodations.

  • Tent Camping: You bring your bike, tent, sleeping bag and personal gear. We'll carry all your luggage and make all the camping arrangements. It's that simple.

Delicious Meals. Dinner and Breakfast are provided each ride day, complimented by a fun and plentiful picnic stop at the ride's midpoint. Cycle America makes special arrangements for delicious catered meals, prepared with local flare. There's always plenty of food and lots of variety. Vegetarian options are included, although meals may include eggs and dairy products.

Experienced Staff. Riders give Cycle America's staff high marks for their expertise and care.

Mechanics. En route and in-camp mechanics will help you keep your bike in top condition (extra charge).

Lots of Support. Well-equipped vans are available en route to give you and your bike a lift as needed.

All camping facilities and overnight fees.

A complete Confirmation Packet that contains pertinent details about the tour, tips on what to bring, a preparation guide, option day activities (if applicable), and what to expect.

Managing Risk and Responsibilities
Cycling can be a dangerous activity and all participants share the responsibility to make Cycle America tours as safe as possible. Cycle America organizes cycling routes from 35 to 110 ride miles with an overall average of 78 miles per ride day. A Risk Management Plan documents how Cycle America supports and organizes bicycle rides to reduce the risks associated with a cycling activity.
